Easter in a Box – The Movie
Easter in a Box – The Movie is a simple, fresh and imaginative way for churches to share the Easter story with their local schools.
What is it?
Children are invited to imagine they are on a movie set, watching the filming of ‘Easter – The Movie’. The plot of the movie is revealed as they unpack 6 boxes. Each box contains props from a scene in the movie. The children…
1. Pass around the props and wonder about their meaning
2. Listen to or act out the script from the scene
3. Track their emotions
4. Pause for a Wonder Moment to reflect and respond
5. Consolidate their learning with a fun activity
6. Collect their activity items in their very own takeaway mini-Easter-in-a-Box
